Inaugural Session (Session 1):
The conference has started on 24that Tagore Auditorium Osmania University with a warm welcome by presenting plant sapling to the dignitaries along with ceremonial lighting of the Lamp by the dignitaries on the dais followed by a prayer song. Dr.M Manickavasagam Director, SPIC, DRDO, President, IISE Hyderabad chapter, has delivered the welcome address. Sr. Prof P Laxminarayana, Register, Osmania Universityand Prof. Sriram Venkatesh, principal, University College of Engineering, OU has addressed the gathering.
Conference preclude address by Dr. BHVS Narayanamurthy, DG (MSS), DRDO & National Vice-President, ISSE. Dr. V Narayanan Director LPSC, ISRO & National President, ISSE addressed the report on ISSE activities. Address by Special guest Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Director, BARC, Dept. of Atomic Energy. This was followed by the Release of Souvenir of the Conference.

This was followed by the presentation of mementos by ISSE Hyderabad chapter felicitated 2019 YOUNG Scientist Awards to Smt. B Lebonah, Scientist IPRC, ISRO, Thiruvananthapuram, in the Systems Engineering Field, encouraging and recognising her meritorious services and contributions in the area of Cryogenic High Altitude test facility System and Dr. M Kaarthik, Assistant Professor, CIT, in the Systems Engineering Field, encouraging and recognising her meritorious services and contributions in the academic area.

2021 YOUNG Scientist Awards to Shri. R Aravind, Scientist, VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram, in the Systems Engineering Field, encouraging and recognising his meritorious services and contributions in the area of Electro-mechanical actuator design, and Shri K Venkata Ajay, Scientist, SDSC, ISRO Sriharikota, in the Systems Engineering Field, encouraging and recognising his meritorious services and contributions in the area of Solid motor development for launch vehicle.

Plenary Session (Session 2):
Plenary Talk at SASAT 2023 by Dr B Yegnanarayana, Emeritus Professor, IIIT Hyderabad on “Science, Engineering and Technology of AI”. Dr. M Vidyasagar SERB National Science Chair, and Distinguished Professor IIT Hyderabad on “Recent Developments in Artificial Intelligence & Possible Impact on Indian Society”
Technical Sessions:
The two day Technical Sessions were conducted at two different venues simultaneously, one at Civil Department ConferenceHall and Civil Department Seminal Hall. Overall, two plenary talks, 6 Invited talks and 55 Contributory talks have been presented.The well attended conference has a total of 800 delegates, and 45 industry partnerswho have set up stalls in the exhibition. The delegates have attended from awide spectrum of all DRDO Labs, 16 Private Institutes and 20 Govt. Institutes.
The conference has covered a wide ranging topics broadly as follows:
1. Two sessions on System Engineering Concepts, and System Synthesis and Analysis
2. Two sessions on System Engineering for Rocket Applications, System Engineering for Space Missions
3. Sessions on System Engineering in Design of Rocket sub-system.
4. Sessions on Aerodynamic, Control, Guidance and Estimation
5. Two session on AI, ML & Fault Tolerance, and AI, ML for System Design & Application.
6. Two sessions on System Engineering in Mechanical Systems and System Engineering in Electrical Systems.

Session 7Panel Discussion: After completing the technical sessions at various venues, he Panel Discussion was held at Civil Conference Hall. Dr. BHVS Narayana Murthy, DG (MSS), National Vice-President ISSEchaired and six distinguished members mainly Dr. Reji Joseph, ISRO, Prof. M Chandrashekhar, vice-principal, UCEOU, Prof. Sriram Venkatesh, Principal UCEOU, and Dr. M Manickvasagam, Director SPIC, President ISSE Hyderabad Chapter, Dr. Krishnamoorthy, Dr. Sanjay Eknath Talole, PD R&D(E), participated in the discussions. Chairman has appreciated the coverage and content of the conference which spanned all areas of System Engineering ranging from Commercial, Strategic, industrial up to defence and aerospace. He opined that many societies are independently in an excellent way, but, there is a need to have a System society to provide a strong background frame work.
Panel Discussion
With this, all the panel members have expressed their views and the Chairman has asked a few people from the audience to express their views. Major points from the audience is recorded below.
· Youngsters to be made aware of the future requirements of the nation.
· Identify the requirements, people and responsibility to be given for R & D.
